Own your own
livestock hosted at
Wild Mountain Farm!

Wild Mountain Adventures is rooted in Wild Mountain Farm, our pasture-based livestock farm. For many years, we've raised free-range chickens, pasture-raised pork, grass-fed lamb, and grass-fed beef, always guided by a commitment to cherish the animals lives and honor them as a source of deeply appreciated sustenance. In 2025, we're offering a unique opportunity for people to own or co-own the animals that will become their family's meat. Our aim with this is to allow people to experience the joys, education, and gratitude associated with with knowing the lives of the exact animals that become our food.  And, of course, to produce the naturally nutritious food.

Here's how it works:

First Choose Your Animal: Own a whole beef steer, a whole lamb, a whole pig, or a small flock of chickens. Consider co-ownership (half or quarter share of a steer) with friends or family. We can help with coordinating groups.

Affordable Ownership:

A purchase cost covers the animal's initial investment, followed by a monthly/weekly farming fee to cover care and feed.

Connect with Your Animals:

Visit the farm on several Open Farm Days to meet and observe your animals and learn more about our ethical and sustainable farming practices.

Ethical Processing: We'll facilitate the humane and customized processing and make arrangements for you to get your meat.
