Wild Mountain Farm is a small farm owned and operated by Lance Bishop. It's located near Baxter's Harbour up on Nova Scotia's beautiful North Mountain, the north slope defining the Annapolis Valley. My main focus here is producing grass-fed beef and lamb and gourmet garlic. The farm is not certified organic, but I do not use chemical fertilizers, livestock growth hormones, or antibiotic feeds. My production philosophy is guided by Nature's design and my animal keeping policy is based on kindness, comfort, and respect. I attend the exciting Wolfville Farmers' Market every Saturday. With some notice, you can arrange to visit the farm and pick up custom orders for the freezer. |
